Stadt - Leben

Das Leben in der Stadt ist eine spannende Inspirationsquelle und bietet zahlreiche Bildmotive.

Es ist faszinierend, mal laut und hektisch, mal verlassen, ruhig und leer. Es bieten sich viele interessante Gegensätze, wie Straßenviertel unterschiedlicher gesellschaftlicher Schichten; verschiedene Kulturen stoßen aufeinander. Außerdem sind Städte einem ständigen Wandel unterzogen. Sie sind Knotenpunkt von Wirtschaft, Politik, Mode, Kunst und Sport. Straßen und Häuser werden gebaut, Menschen leben und erleben, arbeiten, es wird konsumiert und kommuniziert. 

Viele dieser Eindrücke habe ich in London gesammelt und in meinen Malereien verarbeitet. Aber auch die Heimat bietet wunderbare Ansichten.
